Dan Hatala - Dan is a lifelong resident of the state of Iowa. He is currently living in Waverly with his wife Mary, son Matt, and daughter Corrin. Dan began his career as a Designer and then Art Director of an agency. In 1985, he accepted an illustration position with Hellman Associates in Waterloo, Iowa. After eleven years as a Senior Illustrator he began his free-lance career, doing mostly technical & product illustration.
